The Greenbrier Old White Course

6652 Yards, Par 70

Because of his outstanding reputation for research and design of classic design courses, Lester was selected over numerous architects to conduct the restoration of one of the most famous golf courses in the world, The Old White Course at the Greenbrier.

Famous holes such as the Punchbowl, Alps, Redan, Short, Eden, Biarritz and Cape are all part of The Old White's unique CB MacDonald charm. During the first phase of restoration, Lester has painstakingly restored the Punchbowl, Eden and cape holes to their original likeness by studying hundreds of aerial photographs from the era when The Old White was originally designed.
